What affects the cost of wholesale motocross graphics printing? The main factors are the material specification, production time, reprints and fulfilment. At MotoInkWorks, the product price includes materials, production labor, inks and packaging. Shipping and add-on products are separate. Trade prices are available through an approved wholesale account.

For a graphics business, the cost of a motocross kit goes beyond the media and ink. Someone has to prepare the job, set up the equipment, oversee production, deal with mistakes and pack the finished product. While that is happening, there is less time for selling, customer service and growing the business.

Wholesale motocross graphics printing gives you a known production cost for the product you order. At MotoInkWorks, our trade customers supply print-ready artwork and we manufacture it. Pricing is available through an approved wholesale account, rather than published as a public price list.

The useful question is whether your production setup gives you the right balance of cost, capacity and time. Here is how we suggest thinking about it.

Time is one of your biggest production costs

When you are tied to a machine, you cannot give that same time to a customer, a new design brief or a sales conversation. Even with a production team, setup changes and difficult jobs can pull people away from other work.

Motocross graphics can be particularly demanding because of the thickness of the materials. Sign-making equipment can be capable of producing them with suitable setup modifications, but a workflow that runs general signage or large volumes of die-cut stickers may need adjustments for these jobs.

That creates a cost worth measuring alongside your consumables: how much attention does each order need before it is ready to leave?

Look at setup, machine supervision, reprints and packing. Then consider what your team could do with that time if a production partner handled the manufacturing. For some businesses, the biggest benefit is having more time to sell and serve customers, rather than trying to squeeze another job into production.

Material choices affect the product price

Different material variants have different base costs, so moving between specifications changes the price. Compare the actual product you need, rather than treating every motocross graphics kit as the same item.

Once your MIW wholesale account is approved, you can access our product prices and compare those options. That lets you choose the specification for your customer's order with the production cost in front of you.

What is included in MIW's production price?

Our product price includes:

  • The product and its materials.
  • All production labor and inks.
  • Packaging.

Shipping is separate. It depends on the production origin, the recipient's location and the shipping speed required. Include it when working out the cost of fulfilling an order, rather than assuming the product price is a delivered total.

Add-on products, including seat covers, plastic kits and protection sheets, are labeled and billed separately. Keeping those items separate makes it easier to see what belongs to the graphics order and what you are adding to it.

A real example: handing over production, keeping the customer relationship

One of our trade customers had been producing graphics with sign-making equipment. The equipment was capable, but production could mean reprinting individual components or a sheet, with the added pressure of missed deadlines.

They moved the manufacturing to MIW. They supplied their artwork, we produced the job as required and shipped it white label to their customers. In this customer’s case, they avoided the reprints they had been dealing with in-house.

The benefit was a more predictable production cost and less time spent managing the machinery. Their business could continue handling the customer relationship while we handled manufacturing.

We sometimes describe that predictability as a “production insurance policy.” It is an analogy, not an insurance product or a promise that delays can never happen. The practical distinction is who takes care of a manufacturing error.

Who pays when something goes wrong?

If a production error occurs at MIW, we take care of correcting it without additional fees. A correction can sometimes cause a delay, although we generally still meet our dedicated production time slots.

Artwork errors are different. If you supply an incorrect file and we manufacture it as supplied, you will need to reorder the corrected design. Outsourcing production does not remove the need to check your print-ready artwork before submitting it.

Understanding that boundary helps you make a fair comparison. You are handing over manufacturing, while retaining responsibility for the artwork you provide.

When keeping production in-house makes sense

In-house production can be a good fit when you have a reliable team and enough work to keep the equipment running on this product line throughout the working day.

Our practical benchmark is whether you have enough dedicated work for an eight-hour production day. That is a useful question about utilization, not a universal financial break-even rule. Your own costs, staff, equipment and workload still matter.

Even businesses with equipment may prefer to put their attention into sales, marketing and customer service. Many of the customers we work with want less of the day-to-day burden of production so they can focus on those areas.

To compare the options, ask:

  • How much of our team's time does this product line actually use?
  • How often does it interrupt other production work?
  • What do reprints and setup changes do to our capacity?
  • Could that time be more valuable in sales, design or customer support?
  • Have we included shipping and any separately billed products in the outsourced option?

Choosing a production partner you can rely on

We have been producing graphics since 2009, including manufacturing for world champions and championship teams. That experience includes working closely with material suppliers and using equipment suited to this kind of production.

MIW has three strategically located production locations around the globe, with redundancy at each. Their placement supports efficient delivery to our trade customers' clients. It does not remove every possible delay, but production capability and delivery planning both matter when you are choosing who will manufacture your work.

Start with an approved wholesale account

MIW is for businesses designing graphics or other products for resale and able to provide print-ready artwork. Apply through our wholesale partner registration page. Approved accounts receive access to product pricing.

There are no minimums or ongoing order commitments. You can evaluate whether outsourcing fits your business without committing to a continuing order volume.

The goal is straightforward: know your production cost, understand what is included and decide where your time is best spent.
